This is a list of scholarships that are available for International Students intending to enrol at UC in the first year of an undergraduate degree in 2025.聽
Each scholarship has different eligibility criteria so check the details of each one to find out if you're eligible.聽聽
We recommend you apply for聽all聽the聽scholarships you are eligible for, as it is possible to be awarded more than one scholarship at a time.聽

UC Engineering International Scholarship
笔耻谤辫辞蝉别:听To聽recognise top international scholars and support them in study towards an undergraduate Engineering degree at Te Whare W膩nanga o Waitaha | 成人大片.
Value:聽$15,000 towards tuition fees
Who is eligible:聽First-year full-fee-paying international undergraduate students who are currently studying at a secondary school in Aotearoa New Zealand. If you are studying offshore or at UCIC, please refer to the separate聽聽listings. Applicants may聽not聽be a citizen of Aotearoa New 成人大片or Australia, hold an Aotearoa New 成人大片residence class visa, or be a Permanent Resident of Australia.
Other relevant information:聽Applicants must be intending to enrol full-time in a BE(Hons) degree programme.
UC International First Year Scholarship (NZ Incoming First-Year)
痴补濒耻别:听$15,000 towards tuition fees
Who is eligible:聽First-year, full fee-paying, international undergraduate students who are currently studying at a secondary school in Aotearoa New Zealand.聽If you are studying offshore or at UCIC, please refer to the listing if the October/March application round below. Applicants may聽not聽be a citizen of Aotearoa New 成人大片or Australia, hold an Aotearoa New 成人大片residence class visa, or be a Permanent Resident of Australia.
Other relevant information:聽Applicants must have completed, or be completing, a University Entrance qualification or equivalent at a New 成人大片secondary school (or in the previous year if you are on a gap year), and be commencing their first undergraduate degree.聽

Kuching Malaysian Alumni Scholarship
痴补濒耻别:听Up to $10,000 towards tuition fees
Who is eligible:聽Undergraduate students from Kuching Division, Sarawak, Malaysia.
Other relevant information:聽Applicants must have been born in the Kuching Division, Sarawak, Malaysia and/or have attended a primary or secondary school in the Kuching Division for at least 5 years. Applications close 31 October. (NOT OFFERED IN 2024)
Tan Sri Datuk Oh Siew Nam P.S.M, P.J.N. Malaysian Scholarship

Who is eligible:聽Malaysian students intending to enrol/enrolled in an undergraduate degree.聽
Other relevant information:聽Applicants must be citizens of Malaysia. Applications close 31 October.聽
UC Engineering International Scholarship

Who is eligible:聽First-year full-fee-paying international undergraduate students who are currently studying / completed their studies either overseas or at UCIC. If you are studying at a secondary school in Aotearoa New Zealand, please refer to the August application round above).聽Applicants may聽not聽be a citizen of Aotearoa New 成人大片or Australia, hold an Aotearoa New 成人大片residence class visa, or be a Permanent Resident of Australia.
Other relevant information:聽Applicants must be intending to enrol full-time in a BE(Hons) degree programme.
Applications close:聽31 October for those studying overseas at that date; or 01 March for those who will be first enrolling for the following Semester 2 or for Summer School.
UC International First Year Scholarship (Offshore)

Who is eligible:聽First-year international undergraduate students who are completing / have completed a programme at the UC International College (UCIC).
Other relevant information:聽Recipients must be full fee-paying international students. Open to students commencing their first undergraduate year.聽
