The study tour is part of听BSNS228, which is a 15-point 200-level course.

BSNS228听tuition fee plus a $2,500听fee^*听which covers flights, accommodation, and programme-related activities (food and other expenses听are听additional听and to be paid directly by participants).

* This is a subsidised fee using the UC Business School Global Experience Award. This award only applies to Bachelor of Commerce students who have not already received the Global Experience Award. If you are from another degree or have already received the Global Experience Award, the fee will be $4,000.

The听$2,500鈥痜ee is a reduced fee, with UC Business School subsidising the actual cost via the UC Business School听Global Experience Award for those who are eligible.听

M膩ori and Pacific students may also be able to receive a听Global Experience Award - M膩ori and Pacific students听valued at $1,000 to further subsidise the cost.

If you are eligible for a student loan or allowance at UC, you should continue to be eligible for the study tour, provided that you meet the requirements of听.

120 points completed at UC, including ECON104 and a further 15 points from Schedule V of the BCom.

In addition to meeting the eligibility criteria above, students must听provide听a personal statement when applying for the programme, which will be听taken into account听in听determining听who is selected to听participate听in it.听The听basis of听selection听will be听demonstrated听academic achievement in the form of an applicant鈥檚 GPA and the quality of the personal statement. Equal consideration will be given to both criteria.听
